Moonlight is nearly her
sister’s twin and so she also shares her mom’s basic body
structure – a long, rectangular body with very nice topline (thanks, Cody)
and square set legs. She has plenty of spread upfront and nice rear width
and angulation. Compared to Starlight, she is a little shorter, but
sprung wider through the ribs. If anything she has more body capacity
than her mom.
We think her dam’s udder texture
and sire’s udder attachment genetics should make her a very solid milker –
her dam’s capacity and her sire’s attachment should allow her to hold a
large udder better than her dam.
